Josh Constine is the Editor-At-Large for TechCrunch, where he's written thousands of blog posts about tech giants and startups over the past five years. His coverage focuses on social apps including Facebook, Messenger, Instagram, Snapchat, and Twitter; music apps including Spotify, Apple Music, and SoundCloud; and early-stage startups from Y Combinator and other accelerators. Constine has had over 900 of his scoops and thought pieces featured on prestigious tech news curator Techmeme.

Previously, Constine was the Lead Writer for Inside Facebook and Inside Network, helping it to be acquired by WebMediaBrands in 2011. Constine attended Stanford University where he earned a Bachelor's degree with honors in Sociology and a Master's degree in Cybersociology -- a program he designed. There, Constine studied privacy controls, meme popularity cycles, anonymity, trolling, and more about how humans interact over the Internet.

During his six years of pro blogging, Constine has moderated over 80 on-stage talks in 12 countries with notable figures including Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg, whistleblower Edward Snowden (via video chat), and U.S. Senator Cory Booker. His work has been cited by the New York Times, Wall Street Journal, the BBC, and more. Constine is currently a co-director of an art gallery warehouse space in San Francisco's Mission district.
