Ruido Rosa is Alejandra Moreno (vocals), Daniela Sánchez (guitar), Carla Sariñana (bass) and Alicia Zepeda (drums). ALBUM: “Ruido Rosa” released November 25, 2010. The album can be found at every music store in Mexico, as well as the worldwide digital markets of iTunes and Amazon.com The band Ruido Rosa started out participating in battle of the band contests which gave them a great media response, standing out as thee all girl rock band in Mexico. In 2008, Ruido Rosa was the Latin face of the Black XS Fragrance by Paco Rabanne; this media exposure help build their reputation giving way for them to be invited to perform at SXSW 2009. That same year, Ruido Rosa recorded its first EP under the production of Diego Solorzano, co-produced by Guido Laris and was mastered at E-Masters (Kevin Metcalfe and Alex Wordsworth) in the UK. In 2010, the band opened for KISS concerts held in Mexico. A month later, they released their first album, influenced by classic blues and hard rock.
After the success of their first and second single “Dentro” and “Miedo a Caer”; the band earned recognition from the independent music scene in Mexico. Ruido Rosa was invited to attend SXSW for a second time in 2011; thereafter in May of that same year, Ruido Rosa form part of the Vive Latino 2011 line up, receiving great reviews as well as creating a hard fan base. In addition, Ruido Rosa played at the Corona Capital Music Festival, where famed international bands such as The Strokes and Portishead also performed. Ruido Rosa is known for their energetic and forceful performances in different forums and festivals throughout Mexico.
In 2012, Ruido Rosa signed with AA Music Management, since then they have opened for the internationally known and Grammy winning band, Maroon 5 in Mexico City.
Most recently, on April 17, 2013 Ruido Rosa was invited by Terra LIVE Music to perform streamed live via the Terra website. The band is currently touring Mexico and preparing for their second album.
