Where Are The Women in Startups? Um, Everywhere!

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

There are thousands of women out there innovating and starting businesses across sectors and thousands more advancing on the horizon. A recent Intuit 2020 report estimates that 47 million more women will enter the workforce or start their own business by 2020 – and that’s in the US alone. So why all the negativity in the media? Every week brings a slightly different take on the where-are-women-in-business article. Some look at venture funding, others look at women's representation in specific sectors, but they all have the same theme - women can't seem to get it together when it comes to business. This core conversation will tackle the issue by highlighting real-world successes and discussing solutions and methods for changing the conversation around women in business and women entrepreneurs.
