Annelise Pruitt Design
Annelise Pruitt is a branding and user experience designer for web and mobile platforms. She also is good at telling jokes. She was a solo violinist until the age of 17 when she turned to studying culture and design.  She graduated from Johns Hopkins University and traveled the world figuring out what makes the commerce of art tick, then went to Parsons The New School for Design for fashion design. After two years in fashion she moved to digital design because Photoshop is more fun than sewing. She has worked at Marc Jacobs, Ralph Lauren, Chanel USA, CBS Digital Media, IAC as the Senior Designer of TheDailyBeast.com, and currently is the Lead Designer for a mobile video advertising network, Rhythm NewMedia based in New York.   In August 2010 she won a Primetime Emmy as the Lead Designer of StarWarsUncut.com, which she reworked with creator Casey Pugh to incorporate social aspects into digital broadcast. She wrote and directed the pitch video and enjoyed her experience with the Academy so much she is serving as a judge for the College Television Awards in 2011. In her spare time she bikes, knits, and obsesses over stand up comedy specials and user experience on the internet. She's currently writing a sci-fi screenplay.
