Chris Shellen is the producer of MARWENCOL, the Spirit Award-winning documentary that won the Grand Jury prize for Best Documentary at SXSW in 2010. For over 10 years, she has worked in the digital world as an online marketing strategist for clients like Universal Pictures, Oprah.com, Twentieth Century Fox, Warner Bros., Coca-Cola and Mattel. In the film world, she worked as a Paramount Pictures-based creative executive after graduating from USC’s School of Cinematic Media. She is currently working on a new project with partner Jeff Malmberg through their production company, Open Face.
