Jamie Stein is Director of Digital Initiatives, PepsiCo. In her role, she is responsible for digital and social marketing/communications aimed at women influencers. Jamie recently oversaw the creation of PepsiCo Women’s Inspiration Network – PepsiCo WIN, an online interactive network offering a global female perspective on topics important to women. This corporate initiative was driven by PepsiCo’s commitment to women empowerment and will feature branded and non-branded content of inspiration and idea-sharing. Previously, Jamie was Director of Communications for Tropicana and Naked Juice. In her role she was responsible for brand public relations, internal communications and influencer marketing. She also led break-through social and digital media communications programs including Trop50 “The Juice," the first video-based social community for women in partnership with BlogHer. The Juice was launched in support of Trop50, one of the most successful product launches in the history of Tropicana. Jamie also led Tropicana’s Juicy Rewards social media program and spearheaded the creation of TropiMammas, a blogger influencer group. Prior to Tropicana, she led public relations for Quaker Foods and Snacks and was instrumental in the brand's first-ever product integration with NBC's “The Biggest Loser.” Jamie has close to 20 years of experience in marketing communications, interactive, food and beverage, corporate and brand positioning and media relations/media training on both the client and agency side in a wide range of industries. Prior to joining PepsiCo in 2004, Jamie led Fleishman-Hillard Chicago’s Technology/Interactive Practice Group with clients including McDonald’s, Microsoft, Motorola, Walgreen’s, Office Depot, AT&T, Yahoo! and Hasbro Interactive. Her experience also includes working as a consumer technology editor/on-air contributor to “The Weekend Web” segment on NBC 5 Chicago (WMAQ-TV) and as a general assignment reporter for the NBC affiliate in Peoria. Jamie lives in Glencoe with her husband Steve and their two daughters, Zoe and Sydney. She earned a B.A. from Bradley University’s college of business in advertising and public relations with a minor in marketing.
