Rebecca Bray is the Manager of Interaction Design and Strategy at the Smithsonian's National Museum of Natural History. She is the co-founder of Submersible Design, an interactive design company in New York City, and has been a professor of graduate students of interactive technology at New York University. She has created multimedia strategic plans, multiplatform outreach and exhibits for the American Museum of Natural History, the Whitney Museum of Art, the Intrepid Museum of Air, Sea and Space, and many other nonprofit institutions. Her work has won Webby and SXSW Awards and has been featured on the BBC, NPR, Discovery Channel, Good Morning America and ABC News as well as in the New York Times, Wired, Inhabitat, and many blogs. She holds a masters degree from NYU's Interactive Telecommunications Program. She is co-creator of Botanicalls (plants that call people), WindowFarms (crowd-sourced urban agriculture), and The Meatrix (online factory farming parody).
